Scaling and root planing (deep cleaning)

Gum disease is infection of the mouth. It is called gingivitis in it’s early stages. At this stage, the gums bleed on brushing and flossing. It is completely reversible at this stage. If gingivitis is not taken care of, it progresses to Periodontitis which if left untreated can lead to tooth loss and increased risk for heart attack and stroke. We take your gum health very serious. We may recommend scaling and root planing alongside irrigation for periodontal diseases.
