And where necessary we use nitrous oxide (laughing gas) for children to help them relax and feel less nervous for their procedures. Services we perform specific for children include:

Crowns- we do this when a baby tooth has lost a very large cavity that a traditional filling would be inadequate or when the baby tooth has had a pulpal treatment.

Space maintainers- when a child loses his baby teeth well before it is time for the adult teeth to come in, we make space maintainers (spacers) for the child. The spacers preserves the space for the permanent tooth to erupt properly

Pulp treatment- sometimes a severely decayed baby teeth may need pulpal treatment. This preserves the tooth.

We place fillings on baby teeth.

We extract baby teeth when necessary

Mouth guard- we make night guards for patients who grind their teeth and also for children who are into sports such as football, wrestling and boxing. It protects the teeth from further wear and tear.
